Lighterman’s Walk is a pedestrian route linking Northfields and Point Pleasant to the River Thames.

From Putney direction: take the Putney Bridge Rd, turn left into Northfields at the end of Wandsworth Park and follow the road down to a sharp right hand bend, continue further past ‘Prospect Quay’. Lighterman’s Walk is on the left before the next sharp bend to the right onto Point Pleasant. Parking is metered along Northfields and Point Pleasant.

From Wandsworth direction: take the Putney Bridge Rd off the Wandsworth gyratory road system towards Putney. Opposite the Queen Adelaide public house on the left, turn right onto Point Pleasant running under the railway bridge. Continue straight to the bottom past the Cats Back public house. Lighterman’s Walk runs straight ahead off the sharp left hand bend.
