In March 2025, Planning and Listed Building Consent was granted for the sensitive renovation and refurbishment of multiple historic outbuildings associated with Chalk Farmhouse, a site of local heritage significance. The approved scheme introduces 12 new short-stay accommodation units designed to support the growing demand from nearby science parks. The project has been carefully developed to respect and enhance the character of the Grade II Listed Granary building and former stables. Emphasis has been placed on retaining and celebrating the architectural heritage of the site, with both external and internal features conserved and thoughtfully integrated into the final design.
