This refurbishment and extension reworks a 1920s Arts and Crafts house on a historic street in Cambridge, restoring the original brick façade, re-covering the roof and completely restoring the interior for contemporary family living.

To the rear, a new extension sensitively sits alongside the original, with matching brickwork and a twin-gable that utilises local architectural elements. A band of vertical creasing tiles wraps the extension’s ground-floor level, introducing a textured, contemporary layer against the traditional coursing above.
