Snell David were appointed by a former private residential client to design a substantially new build project which encompassed an existing office building.

Initial designs and layouts were prepared to look at the potential reconfiguration arrangements and how the architecture of the existing building could be adapted in a slightly mixed commercial environment. Careful consideration of materials, private balconies and the general fenestration gave greater residential character to the building along with initial considerations on the landscape.

Further proposals were developed and planning consents were obtained for the development in a number of phases.

The proposals and building works themselves were managed and implemented directly by the developer with reference to our design proposals and the consents obtained.
