In March 2025, planning permission was granted for a new detached pool house and external pool to serve the main residential dwelling. Designed with a contemporary aesthetic, the pool house features a distinctive curved roof, sculpted to optimise solar gain while remaining visually subservient, discreetly sited behind an existing tall hedge. Constructed with a curved Douglas Fir glulam frame, the structure incorporates large areas of glazing and natural stone, carefully selected to complement the surrounding context and integrate harmoniously with the landscape.
