We have gained planning permission for an exciting new-build house in Cambridgeshire.

The proposal is sensitively designed in response to its woodland setting with a shape that is formed around the existing trees to enhance connectivity with the landscape. The ground floor is a solid tactile mass embedded into the landscape that branches out to capture views of the beautiful surroundings. The first floor is formed as an elegant treehouse structure clad in slender blackened timber, hidden amongst the leaves.

The design was unanimously supported by the local Parish Council due to its thoughtful approach.
