We are pleased to announce planning permission has been granted for 31 dwellings in Great Chesterford, Essex.

The intention of the layout is to create familiar groupings of differently sized dwellings that create distinct smaller 'character areas' - all emphasised by the eclectic but distinctive vernacular architecture found throughout the surrounding villages.

The proposal comprises a mix of single storey dwellings, cottage-like terraces, barn-style family homes and larger 'farmhouse' dwellings.  40% of the dwellings are allocated as affordable housing and the site boasts a well proportioned 'village green' overlooked by houses to the east and west.
